iPhone Woes Continue to Grow

The number one suggested phrase for iPhone using Google’s search tool: “iPhone 3G problems.”

The hype has died down and the backlash of disappointment has gained momentum as iPhone user after iPhone user sounds off about the problems with reception, internet speed, battery life and more.
A news report surfaced late yesterday of a class-action lawsuit filed in Alabama by a woman claiming that Apple is selling a fraudulent product. The suit, which reportedly has more than 100 members, seeks damages in excess of of $5 million.

The last story, from Consumer Affairs, goes on to say “There’s speculation among some Wall Street types that the reception problems are being caused by an antenna design flaw or an issue with the chipset and that a simple firmware upgrade won’t be enough to get iphone users the five bars they’re hoping for.”
So, is it the Infineon chip or the antenna design or …???
I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling a lot better about not standing in line for 12 hours with the other iPhone lovers.
